No internet access after gateway reset.

My roommate reset the gateway.The internet works for him but not for me.
The gateway is an Arris TG862.I've called Comcast and they said everything is fine.Which of course it is since it at least works for my roommate.The connection status says ipv6 connectivity : no network access.I've scanned with Malwarebytes and nothing came up.

Not having IPv6 connectivity is normal. You should have IPv4 connectivity though. Are you both connecting via the same route (wifi or cable) and are you using dynamic or static IP's?

Yes I have ipv4 connectivity.We're both using wifi.
Edit: It's dynamic.

1. Test your system at place that has free wifi 2. Try going into network and sharing and delete your exising network, and set it up fresh.

Yes it works with free wifi.I set it up again and I still don't have internet.

Run cmd as administrator,

Type: netsh winsock reset catalog

Restart

If you don't have internet how did you post this? Are you using an Ethernet Cable
