Swapped out a rapidly filling 120 GB Intell SSD for a Samsung 256 GB SSD. Performed diskpart, clean all before install on new SSD. Cannot connect to Internet either wirelessly or via hard wired port. Device manager says "Driver for this device are not installed (Code 28)." Went to Toshiba's site and could not find drivers? I figured I'd download them to a thumb drive and then point the device manager to them that way. Maybe I am not looking in the right spot? Machine is a Satellite P770. I've done several clean installs on this machine in the past and have never run into this no Internet connection issue after first boot. Any help would be appreciated.

This machine was given to me when my dad bought a new computer. I keep throwing upgrades at it and it keeps on ticking. Think I've done everything to it that can be done outside a PSU upgrade so I can run an even BETTER GPU.
I found these drivers at Toshiba's site. You should be able to download them to your thumb drive, then install them on the Satellite P770 to hopefully be able to setup your LAN or wireless afterwards.
Click on the Drivers & Updates tab, then you can click on the LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi links under "Filter by" on the left for each driver.
Thanks for trying, Brink. Yup, those are the same things I saw when I went to Toshiba's site. When clicking the filter under "LAN," I am sent to something called "ConfigFree." It's a set of utilities for troubleshooting. There is no driver. The other two supply wimax support and a realtek wireless driver. I'm in an area where there is no wifi so, that one won't work right now. I need the LAN driver for this machine and can't find it.

Found a LAN driver for my computer on Softpedia. Don't know why I couldn't find it on Toshiba's site. Anyhow, I loaded it on my thumb drive and installed it from my fresh Windows install and immediately was connected to the www. 145+ Windows updates to go!
