Solved No sound, PCI media card

I recently installed the PCI media card. everything worked fine for a bit. Now I have no sound. "Properties" says the "device is working". The trouble shooter finds nothing wrong. The only thing I did that was different was unplug one speaker and plug it in again. I uninstalled it, restarted and reinstalled but that didn't help.

Are plugged into the correct jack, the GREEN speaker jack. Check the speaker system to make sure all the cables are connected (and properly connected). Also that they are connected to AC power and powered on.

I went back to it later yesterday and it was working.
Now today it is not, nothing all day. Computer says it is working. Didn't change anything from when it worked yesterday.
I checked all the plugins before I wrote.
