the hdmi is part of the video device on the motherboard ,so its video device chip dependent ,so make sure you have the latest video driver for that motherboard .
when i search the motherboard listed in the speecy report all i find are computers with that model #


latest drivers from nvidia for your video chipset ,the 9200 is listed ,and the date is the 25th of march 2013 .

so you downloaded ,and installed the drivers and it made no change, correct ,im lost I don't know what else to advise you to do ,sorry

Correct I am thinking I might need to order disk from Acer and see it that changes things. Maybe the one you burn from system dose not have the driver.

According to this website you been dealing with this sense January 27 AX3400 U3032 No sound or icon for hdmi - Acer Support Community and we have tried all the obvious things here with you, I don't think there's much else we can do. You must have some kind of hardware problem all I can suggest is taking it to a repair shop and see what they say.
