This could be a blip between your wireless equipment, and .NET Framework or you have a problem with the .NET Framework Client or both.

Is this the first time this has happened, can you reproduce the error?
Was the wireless up and running before you tried to connect to the Network, oh, and by the way are we talking Internet, LAN or both?

Are you up to date with your wireless equipment, and Windows Updates? Last Patch-Tuesday was February 14th, 2012.

Have you recently scanned for any malware?

You should at least do either or both of the following.

Run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html
For the suggested three times to try and repair the run-time file.

If SFC reports none or fixed errors then retry your connection.

If problem still exists,
Go to Programs and Features you should see Net4.JPG listed.
Right Click on Client profile, click on uninstall/change. In the next dialog window that opens you will have the option to either repair or remove, make sure repair is selected.

Do the same with Extended.

If the repair wizard reports no errors found then concentrate on your wireless equipment.

If either of those fails or the wizard can not repair, and your wireless seems to be okay then go back to Programs and Features remove both .NET Framework's, then reboot, and re-install.

To re-install, you could try Checking for Updates at: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update or,

You can use this: Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer)
