Non-certified driver from Intel for Bluetooth Adapter

My motherboard has an Intel BT driver but is not certified and therefore not accepted by Windows. (code 52). I followed the advice of "disabling driver signature enforcement" alternatively enabling the option 'ignore' for code signed drivers at User Config/Admin.Template/system/Driver installation.
Nothing works and the device manager still shows the yellow triangle labeled 'Generic Bluetooth Adapter' and under Name: Bluetooth Server and Type: Bluetooth Auxiliary.
Can someone help me to get rid of the yellow triangle - thank you!

No problems mate personally I always use either the machine manufacturer's or the device manufacturers site for downloading drivers the Windows feature is not really that great.

If you are interested you can improve the performance of your machine with this tutorial which I regard as my bible http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11728-optimize-windows-7-a.html

with some tweaks you lose some of the "bling" like transparency but I have never seen the usefulness of it anyway and all my machines have been configured using this brilliant tutorial by the master - Brink

Hello ICIT2LOL,

Today I checked my devices folder and -believe it or not- the same yellow triangle has appeared again for the 'Centrino wireless and high speed adapter'. The software version for the driver is now 2.0.15.30150 as per your suggestion and now the Windows code that comes up is 43.
I'm at a loss again. Any suggestions? Someone said that I have to completely re-install Windows 7 - could that be?
Regards

Hello mate now the original problem device was the Blu tooth?? and now it is throwing a code 43 error which generally means the driver cannot be loaded for a particular device. Now if it is the WLAN and WiFi because you mentioned the Centrino wireless in your post from that board driver list try updating them and if the latest WLAN drivers does not work then rollback to the previous one .

Right now there is no need to reinstall this is a problem I think is being caused by something else on your machine and I have just noticed you have AVG as your AV - at very least disable it - better still get rid of it it is a piece of crap. Personally I would be inclined to do this first.

I would also run these
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2 > in safe mode if need be
The SFC is genrally accepted as being run for three scans but please do something with that AVG before you do anything else.

If you have to have a free AV then check out the real time ones from here.
