Not able to Log On Properly

I installed Windows 7 (xp already installed) and went to documents and settings and took owership and changed the persmissions of the "User Ishq File"

Now when i try to log on to XP user it says.

WIndows can't log on the user's profile but has logged you on as the default profile for the system.

Details: Incorrect Function

Most of my programs are not working...and system restore did not work in XP.
NO system restore points in seven.

Is there a way i can renounce my control over the user folder.

could try a system restore in safe mode or last known good

i try system restore. In xp didn't do anythinig and in 7 there are no restore points
