Hi,
Okay, I am copying VHS to DVD (hopefully). I am trying to open my DVD editing software program and I get this:
"Not enough colors in the video display unit to play the video"
So the software program won't open.

I found and followed the instructions for changing 'XP mode to display 24-bit color with integration' and that works for the XP mode desktop. Checked it by right-clicking desktop>Settings>24-bit color is there.

What is 'with integration'?

How can I find out what the software program wants?

Thanks,

If I understand correctly, it sounds like your program wants 32-bit colors. XP Mode does not support 32-bit colors sadly. :( Your best bet is to disable the integration features for XP Mode which will give you the ability to use 32-bit colors.
