I am trying desperately to get a second ethernet card installed in one of my computers. It is a generic pci gigabit ethernet card with a realtek chipset. Windows 7 finds the card, but not matter what I do it will not have enough resources to use the card.
MOBO:ASRock 970M
CPU:AMD FX 8320E
MEM:Crucial Ballistix Sport 16gb
VID:ATI Radeon HD23400XT
SATA:HighPoint Rocketraid 2680
I've tried disabling the onboard card, the USB3, ATA controller, etc but to no effect. I've tried updating everything else. After that, I tried reinstalling windows 7 and got the exact same error. The exact error is "This device cannot find enough resources that it can use(Code 12)"
Any suggestions on what I need to do in order to get this going?
