Hello, my english is bad but I try to describe it. I have MSI CX61 2OD notebook.

My notebook has random noise, it comes like from "left speaker area". I muted speakers and disabled sound card but noise keeps coming.

It's not like HDD noise, more like a " cızzzt" . It's coming always in same tone and same length. Both on battery and plugged in.

I recorded the noise here is the link: noise.mp3

What should I do? It's coming completely randomly. A user from MSI forum said its because of "a short or arcing around the Charging jack"

Is it true? Please help me... (and I don't think the noise is coming from the fan)

It could be the bearings on the fan starting to wear.

Keep an eye on the temperature, if it rises to hot shut down laptop immediately.
