Notebook text Size

I have an HP Notebook. On Windows XP, at the bottom right on the Taskbar is an option for the screen size. 100%, 150%, 50% etc.

I have a program which is too big for my Notebook screen. Are there any ways I can reduce the size of the text as in XP, so that the program fits my screen?

There are a few buttons at the bottom of the program I need to get to but at present, I cant because it is too big for the screen.

Any ideas how I reduce it to 50% or 75% as in Windows XP?

Thanks for your advice.

I havealready tried the 1st few options without success.

I tried the regedit option & dropped the % to 50%. Rebooted the Notebook but the program is STILL too large for the screen. The butoon I need to click is about 1 inch below the bottom of the screen.

I am totally stuffed as I paid a lot for the program & I cant use it.

Any other ideas on how to reduce the size of the program?

Hello Rob, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Is it just with this one program, or is everything to large to use?

Does the program have a scrollbar on the side to scroll down with?

If you also used the REG download in OPTION THREE at the tutorial link above, and it still is to large after restarting the computer, then you might double check your screen resolution settings to make sure that they are set to the native resolution for your notebook's screen. If everything is to big to be able to change the screen resolution, then you could boot into Safe Mode and change it from there.
