Nothing Works!

Well I have a hp, Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit laptop, and certain programs/websites do not work on it. Everything works when I run it on safe mode, but on normal mode its all broken again. I have no idea what to do.

1. I went to the little start button (

)
2. I typed in "msconfig.exe"

3. I ran it without using any services. Then restarted. And it didn't fix it.
4. I tried running it with out any services, and only half of the startup items. I restarted. It still didn't work.
5. Now I am trying it with no services, and only one startup item. Now I have to restart my computer.

In the picture in that tutorial, his start up list only has 7 items. Mine has almost 30.

Is that normal?

Okay I am starting this. And is it possible to reset my computer to all of the original settings without a Windows 7 CD? This happened to my old computer also which had Windows Vista.

You may be able to reset the same that it was the day you took it home, but lets see how this works.
Run 3 times if you find errors.
