Hello there. I just put together my firth custom build and its all working great except for when i get a BSOD crash. I have done crash analysis and it keeps happening at same place everytime. The ntoskrnl.exe is the crash address for all of them. And it seems to happen mostly when I am playing Civ5 thru directx11 seems to not happen while playing it in direct x9. Furthermore it will play battlefield 4 without prob. I have tried updating drives where i can and ran disk scan after disk scan and cant find anything. I have done pass with memtest and tested my harddrive and could find no errors in either. I will post a crash report here, but if there is anymore info i can give that will be of help please just let me know. I have run out of things i can think to do to fix this problem and becoming extremely frustrated and disheartened.

Hello. I have run the debug report and this is what i came back with. I have also attempted all of the steps above and none seem to work. What's weird is it doesn't seem to have a problem with games in windowed mode. I played titanfall for hours without issue.

All your dumps are blaming hardware.

I'll go ahead and post this for you,

Let's do some hardware tests

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Let us know the results.

This is a problem here though,

You have an OEM install on a retail motherboard, that can't be done without some sort of hack.

You need to get a legal genuine install to continue receiving help.

Once you have done that, please post back with this info,

Please perform the following:

1. Download and save this tool to your desktop:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

2. Run the tool, and then click Copy - ignore any errors if they appear

3. Use CTRL+V to paste the unedited results of the tool here in your next reply.
