Hi everyone, I have three pcs installed with windows7 sucessfully. I love the operating system.
My laptop is having issues with my 9600 m GT 512 video card..windows update will not find my video card like it does on all my other systems .. 186.81 is the version I have attempted to use from the nvidia webpage... windows reboots saying it had a problem booting and it will attempt to resolve the problem... I have to use system restore after each time I install these drivers... anyone else having an issue like this? Is there a solution to this problem?

Thank You all in advance

Matt

Have you thought about a bios update, have you been to the laptop site to make sure you have all drivers up to date - no yellow asterisks in device manager.
Have you tried updating the chipset drivers? Chipset (ver.8.7.0.1007)

I also have a nvidia 9600mgt, Windows updates finds drivers for it, but i manually install my drivers, so its a 1 off case, possibly.
