Hey, i have a compaq presario V3000 (mine is a V3015nr), When i bought it, it had windows xp and the ethernet and wireless connection worked well, then, i decided to upgrade it to win 7, but then, the drivers just crashed, i fixed this and everything was working well, but then, this error appeared and since that i'm unable to use wireless connection...

I've serached a lot of drivers but all of them are for Windows xp, or windows 7 x64...

Mine is an Windows 7 ultimate x32

Please help me finding out the solution, or a least some drivers...
Thanks if you're decided to help me...

So let me get this straight:

  • You had XP and upgraded to Windows 7, (which is what, home premium?)
  • Upon upgrade several of your device drivers malfunctioned?

  1. Which drivers failed, and how did you fix them? Re-installation of the operating system itself, or, of drivers individually (if you installed individually - then which?)

  • You say after fixing the drive errors another error appeared. What error?

I'm sorry, I need more information to help you out :(

If I'm misunderstanding, and your drivers are still going haywire, please list the names of the drivers and if possible the device AND the hardware driver name/model

Ok, first, i upgraded to win 7 ultimate x32
second the drivers which failed were:
-Vga driver (nVidia GeForce Go 6150)
-Sound card driver (Conexant High Definition Audio)
-Network card driver (nVidia nForce Network Controller)

Then, i found in the local disk a folder with all of the drivers, i installed them and everything appeared to be working...
But yesterday, the network card one stopped working, the device was unable to start so i reinstalled things and it worked again..
Now, it stopped working, i reinstalled it again, and it worked by 3 - 4 hours, then i restarted the laptop and the problem appeared again...

That's all i know, if you need more info. just ask me
Thank you for your help
