well thats what i got when i RMAed my MOBO.... so i was expecting something like that.

anyway i OC to 4.6, and testing prime, and everything seems A-OK! so im going to let it run to test 10 or so, and if it dosent crash, im lowering my OC to 4.4. but so far 100% stable!

lol i was VERY skeptical that AMD would accept my RMA....

This CPU requires a LOT LESS voltage to get the same OC! im almost at stock voltage at 4.4ghz! thats awesome!

A wise move, just stick with 4.4, you should be safe there.

I'm no overclocker anyway really, as long as my rig does what I want it to (which hopefully this one will for a while yet) I'm happy. When it doesn't I may have a dabble, but more than likely I'll just upgrade the CPU. I am tempted to have a go on my AMD rig though just to see if I've got the minerals.

im at 4.4 on stock voltage 100% stable that's awesome!

but ya I figured that the difference between 4.4 and 4.6 is maybe 2fps or so in CPU intensive games, so if need be, ill just go up to 4.5 or 4.6 as time goes on and games get more intensive. but I have a power plan set up for everyday use. its only clocked currently at 3.1ghz. I just change it to 4.4 when I play games or render a video

im just super glad its not the mobo! i DID NOT want to drop another $150 then have to try and sell this one.
