It can always be worse - I had a work colleague a few years ago who visited a steel mill to perform maintenance - parked up in the correct parking bay - went inside and did his work - came out to find his car covered in dust of the same colour you are experiencing. Not a problem, left mill, stopped at local car wash on way back to office - off came red dust , complete with all the paint on the car !!!!

True story - should have seen the explanation to insurance - steel mill ended up paying for complete respray of car plus about 20 others

hahaha, pretty much, woke up to a red dust, thought it was the apocalypse, then ripped my hair out after having a look at the car, was nice and clean yesterday :'(
