Dear geeks and gurus, I know this is really multiple OT but please allow me this one time first check something asking your opinion here before "going public".

Laptop and desktop. Two routers, both with own line & connection to the world. Desktop has two NICs, NIC1 is connected to Router1, NIC2 is connected to Router2. Laptop's NIC is connected to Router1.

If I delete / disable Default Gateway from NIC1 (Desktop), shouldn't it force Desktop to use NIC2 for all HTTP / FTP traffic but still allow NIC1 to communicate with Router1, i.e. allow Laptop connect to Desktop and vice versa?

Where's the fault? Could it be so simple?
