and other Unix variants...

Not to mention little green and yellow turds, for Rev_nbr, Service_pack,
MSDN/Technet/Torrent DL, Dual-boot, and the rest of the cornucopia...

not to be biased, but this IS a WINDOWS 7 forum. all those others dont matter, in that regard. all the other system stuff (rev, ver, w/e) can still exist in the system specs. out of plain site, but still easy enough to find.

To use this thread more effectively, it is necessary to click permalink and then grab the URL from the address bar to use in the hyperlink from which this thread is called.

The real concern is that z3r010 is very fastidious about the appearance of the site, as I see it one of the main reasons why we won "The Best Windows Website 2009", which I agree with, so I don't expect any changes in the near future.

Well, there are some "interesting" posts here...

But yes, this trick is not so easy to use. I have to tab over to my text pad to use 'redirect' properly.

Browse to <off topic> Redirect </off> thread. Create post. Grab Permalink URL.

Browse to thread in need of redirect. Create post and insert text "<off topic> Redirect </off>" Insert Permalink URL into the text.

My little scratch pad and Standing By threads work the same way. Regardless, the goal remains the same - keep the threads as cleans as possible without depriving members the opportunity to keep it fun.

Just use this to add the permalink, this way you can use the Post #582 like this.
