Is there somewhere that you can get a CD or download updates for Office 2007 since Microsoft has stopped support as of 04-10-2012. I have SP3, but there were updates after that.

Thanks Clint

I didn't know they had stopped support.

I got 11 different updates for Office 2007 yesterday 4-11-12 via Windows Update. Did you get them?

The only others I got recently were on 10-25-11, also from Windows Update.

I guess I got the cart in front of the horse this time. The site said Microsoft was ending support for Vista and Office 2007 this week. I went back to the link where I saw it and found out it was an error. Sorry for the confusion. This was at the Computerworld site. Computerworld - Editor's Note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified Office 2007 as also exiting mainstream support this week. Glad it was incorrect. I don't want to have to buy another expensive software.

I would still like to have a copy of the updates. When I go to control panel, Windows update, Installed updates, I have 16 Office 2007 updates after SP3. I would like to copy them, but the only option that I have is to un install. If they are on my PC, why can't I copy them and if I did copy them could I reinstall them. When I do updates, I don't get all of them. I only have Word, Excel and Power Point installed. I don't have Outlook and the other programs installed. The only reason is that if I have a crash I won't have to download them again.

Thanks Clint

If the only reason is for a crash, then make a restore point or an image to an external drive then you can experiment.

I don't have the option to create a restore point on an external drive. I don't see the advantage of doing that anyway unless you do it every day, because everything that you've added after that would be lost. I'm only interested in getting copies of the updates.

You can download all updates for office :
Open control panel then programs & futures, in the left pane tick View Installed updates.
You will see a detailed page of updates like this:

From this list you can pick any KB relating to your needs then visiting the MS download center:

Download: Update for Microsoft Office 2007 suites (KB2596789) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details
and searching for the KB and downloading-it then copying all downloaded KB's to a folder of your choice
