My computer runs Win7 x64, so naturally I decided to install Office 2010 64 bit. While I have had no problems with the program itself thus far, MS released it too early as there are very few programs which play nice with it. This is particularly true for Outlook, which really does need to interact with other programs. Specific problems include:
So, it is time to remove the 64 bit version (not sure what benefits, if any, I'll be losing) and install the 32 bit version. My question is this: Will a simple uninstall followed by a reinstall work, or is there likely to be left-over files and/or registry keys which will cause problems?
Thanks
p.s. I assume that it would not be advisable to simply unistall/reinstall just Outlook?
- MS MapPoint (yes!) - The Map It feature cannot be hooked to MapPoint
- Cardscan - you cannot transfer data with the 64 bit version
- QuickBooks - built-in emailing functionality does not work
- Linked In social connector
- HTC Sync (program for syncing HTC Android phones) - need a goofy work-around
- Peak (allows one to see email content without opening - great plug-in!)
- Outlook attachment sniffer
