I currently have 2 XP Pro systems (laptop and desktop). Offline shares are working fine; the laptop has the offline files. I created an s:\ (for share) drive on my local LAN using my desktop system and all the files reside there.

My laptop needs to be upgraded. I want to go to Windows 7. Will I be able to easily transition offline files with this setup from 2 XP Pro systems to a Windows 7 (Professional or Ultimate) on a laptop and my current XP Pro Desktop?

NOTE: The operative word here is "easily".

Rainey,
I am able to share files between XP and Windows 7 and access my External Hard drive on my XP computer.. about the Offline thing I think You can by just by clicking the Always Available Offline button. It was pretty Easy to set up. (I thought). Here are some Screen Shots..to make sense of it..

Hope this Helps..
