Well it didn't work in this thread because there aren't any of those badges showing under MYWIN7's posts, the only one I saw was in the clip that Ted put up.

Looks good, John. And kudos to MyWin7 for the useful suggestion. All too often, particularly in the longer threads, we tend to forget who was the starter and that it is his/her question that we should be answering. It will also help us to see at a glance how well the thread is progressing towards finding a solution for the OP, as it makes these posts within the thread stand out more.

Whether or not we keep this idea here, or indeed port it over to the other Forums, remains to be seen. Like John said earlier:

I like the idea and can do it, but I'll have to run some tests on the dev site to see if it causes any extra overhead on the db.

I think we should give it a few weeks to see what overheads it adds to the system and, depending on the result, the decision will need to be made as to its fate.

Note that it says further posts. This is to make subsequent posts by the OP easier to find. The first one, by default, is easy to find since it is the first post in the thread. As such, it does not require this additional label.
