Opera 11, Beta

I (see my post on the drop down suggestions) Been using Opera for years and was extremely disappointed in the new version. Have went back to Opera 10 and will not upgrade. I think that Opera has fallen into the herd mentality with 11 at least the beta version. opera has always stood for innovation, not being a follower. I'm sad and disappointed. Maybe they are spending too much time on their mobile stuff.

Funny I see plenty of innovation from Opera this year & speaking for myself I'm glad they copy good ideas from other browsers. I expect there will be an option to turn off suggestions in opera:config at some point in the future.
Some things about Opera annoy me but switching to another browser I soon get frustrated by the lack of options, for me Opera as a package is head & shoulders above the other browsers.

It feels rather like the latest win 7 beta leaks and waiting with baited breath for the next one.

I tried Unite and its Server feature when they first came out in Opera 10, but the fascination dissipated quickly. The rest of Opera has progressed wonderfully though.
