osk.exe / utilman.exe trick not working

Like an idiot, I changed my admin password a few months ago and can't remember it. I tried this trick, but the command prompt won't open. With either case, nothing happens. What am I missing? Whenever I do this, whatever file I pick, osk or utilman, gets deleted when I go back in and look for it.

Yes, finally got it working. Booted into safe mode instead of regular windows and the command prompt popped up after clicking the button.
