Out of Room - Now What?

I seem to be in the "dire straits" in regard to the amount of room I have on my PC. I use a Dell Optiplex 760 tower, with Win 7 Pro OS, 64-bit, dual partition. Yes, I'm familiar with many various software programs which show HOW the space is being used on my PC; however, not being extremely tech savvy, these do me little good, as I'm usually always left in a quandary about eliminating "this or that" from the system without full knowledge about it.

So, I really don't know what to do at this point (????). I have scrutinized my installed programs, and it seems that I need everyone of them.

Attached is a screenshot of both C and E. Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated. Thanks so much.

You can make E smaller and assign that saved space to C.

Most likely you'd need Partition Wizard to do it. A free download.

As ignatzsonic says, resizing your partition would be your best bet. However, make sure you have everything backed up before doing so.

Looks like you have a 240GB or so sized drive there which is small by today's standards. You should do what was suggested (shrink E:, expand C: ) but you should also consider getting a larger drive. Excellent idea but, if the OP doesn't already have one, I would rather see him buy an external drive or similar arrangement to back up his computer's drive first.
