Hi all Please help,

Im using Outlook 2007 and have been for over a year now and have just started getting this problem. On the navigation pane my mail has gone missing from 2 weeks ago and onwards i have tried looking in my Archived folders and there is nothing there and have also checked my deleted items and there is no sign of the mails there either also i have tried View > Cascade / Expand Groups > Expand and still nothing the mails used to be there

Also one other problem i can not retrieve the older mails from my mail server as they are deleted from the mail server once outlook has received them so there must be some way of retrieving the mail that has gone missing as they will have been stored on my computer at one point.

Thanks in advance :geek:

Firstly, when you say "2 weeks ago and onwards" do you mean the emails before or after that time are missing?

That's actually not "afterwards," but I get it. I assume you're still using the email account? Are newer emails also disappearing once they hit/pass two weeks old?

Right-click the Inbox in the Navigation Pane and click Properties. There should be a tab in that window labeled "AutoArchive" ... click that and tell me what option is selected.
