Outlook 2010 disconnected

All of a sudden when trying to access emails through outlook 2010 it says that it is disconnected. I only check the mails every few weeks and it was fine the last time I checked.
Any ideas please.

I also check my Outlook 2010 every few weeks, and I did just check it -- and it's working fine. Sorry, I have no more useful help than that.

What email service are you using if its Google they have recantly block old email clients for security

Have you tested your account to make sure that they are connecting?
