Hello guys,

I am not sure whether this is a good place to post this, but I am taking a long shot. Hope somebody might throw some light on this.

We are using Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 Pro. On one of the users Outlook, when she tries to reply or forward or double click a message, the window opens in the background and it is impossible to access that window. How can I solve this?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi Sudhirhk,

Have you install any anti-virus at your system? Once try to Start Outlook in safe mode and see if it changes the behavior.

Hi Marshal,

Thanks for your input. However, that wasn't the issue. Apparently, the user pressed some button that had made the message window move into the background. I was scratching my head and trying on different troubleshooting techniques and chanced upon what she had done. Normally, when you have multiple monitors, you use the windows+shift+left or right arrow keys to move the window from one display to another. Apparently, she had pressed something like this and sent the window to another display and that display was being used by another PC of hers as well. Anyway, hope this can add to the solution list of similar problems in future.
