Welcome aboard:D
Use the current verision, Outlook 2007. There is a beta version of office 2010 available for public testing out soon and it has a 64 bit version(i think). I use office 2007 on my 64 bit system with no problems.

Outlook Express and Outlook, despite their similar names, are totally different email programs. Outlook 2007 is part of the Microsoft Office 2007 family of productivity software, and is not free.

Outlook Express is no longer included in Windows 7. Email is not an OS function, so Win7 users need to use other options. Microsoft has replaced OE with Windows Live Mail, which you can download for free from here. Or, there are several alternative email programs you can use, or one of the many on-line email programs, like GMail.
