Hi,
I have a problem when Outlook 2010 tries to communicate with my Windows 2003 Server's POP3. I cannot sync with Secure Password Authentication option checked.
On the server side there is a Microsoft Windows 2003 Server's POP3 service running for more than 4 years with Secure Password Authentication enabled. On the client side there was Outlook 2003 also with Secure Password Authentication enabled.
Fifteen days ago I installed Office 2010 on Windows 7 64bit platform. I receive an error when SPA is checked on both sides. When I uncheck the option on both sides I can sync but the password and username are send as plain text. Secure Password Authentication provides some security and that is what I'm looking for.
