There are no BSOD dumps in the report you uploaded.

Browse to your C:/minidumps folder and copy all files from there and paste them to
your desktop. Put them in a zip and upload them here.

thanks for the quick reply.

I searched for the minidumps folder but could not find one.

Do you use Ccleaner or any other type of computer cleaner? If you do, stop, because it erases the memory dumps needed to diagnose your problem.

-Right click My Computer and select Advanced System Settings from the left pane.
-Under Startup and Recovery click Settings
-Make sure Write an even to the system log is checked and Automatically Restart is not checked.
-The Write Debugging Information should be Small memory dump
-The small dump directory should say %SystemRoot%\Minidump

The next time the computer crashes a memory dump will be created and placed into C:\Minidump. Upload that file here

I just changed the settings in the startup and recovery window. I'm guessing that I don't have a minidumps folder because it wasn't correctly set to do so. Should my laptop crash again, I'll upload the dump here.

Thanks again for your time.

From what you uploaded I can already tell you that you need to update to SP1.

How to update to SP1

Your video card drivers are also very outdated. Follow the directions from here on how to update them

EDIT: After looking around some more on google, you might just have the latest drivers for your card because it is an older card and drivers are no longer made for it.

EDIT2: Check out this link about updating your video card. http://www.hardwareheaven.com/modtool.php

I didn't even know that they released sp1 yet. It just showed up after I ran win update. Updating as we speak.

As for the ATI driver, I didn't get a notification about your edits and had to learn the hard way that I already had the latest driver by following the directions on the link you posted.

I'll take a look at the Mobility modder after sp1 finishes.

Thanks again.

Hold off on the mobility modder until I can read a bsod dump. Why fix something if it isn't broke?
