As I said, for downloads I really see a big difference, especially since my German connection often runs faster than what I pay for. But in webpage access, it solely depends on where I go. A German website displays very fast, but going to a website in the US from there may take some time. That has to do with the number of hops.Can you tell a lot of differance from one to another? I mean the speed in germany. I have done everything and I cannot get the speed back to were it was 2 weeks ago, I guess I am going to live with this BS.. Everybody on the net is mad as **** over the way bellsouth AT&T does people there service in the worst I have ever seen... Maybe the 150kbps will not make that much differance.
I never had any problems with Bell South/ATT. For US websites, the access times are "as expected" and pretty fast. Download is a lot slower than in Germany because my line is rated 4 times slower.
