Paint does not remember last "Save as..." location

Hello.
I Googled this problem many times this night but wasn't able to find solution.

Currently when I paste something into Paint and saves it it always starts in "My Pictures" folder. On other computer I'm using Paint remembers last saving location and starts there.
Both computers are running Windows 7 Pro 64x so I really have no idea what went wrong...

I'm not interested in planting favourites or addind directories to library.
I would like to know if there's a way to fix it, so my Paint will work as it should.

(No such issue with Notepad for example)

This is all I could find and its straight from Microsoft. Read/scroll down to baltobikeboi 's post. Nice and informative even with the guy screaming about MS. Best I can come up with at the moment. Hope it helps. Windows 7 does not remember last "Save As" location in any program.

Hey, thanks for welcome.

I've found this post before creating topic. It's a way around so I didn't want to use it.
It just makes me wonder how is it possible that on one Windows save location is remembered and on another is not... Never experienced such issue before to be honest.

Is there some kind of registry key that can be broken or some system path that needs altering?

I would really like to avoid formating my PC (quite fresh install, just about 2 weeks)

Not to my understanding. Just curious, but what windows versions are you talking about explicitly. I see you're using 7 pro but which version are you referring to? Comparing it to may be a better way of saying it.

Both computers are running Windows 7 Pro 64x Service Pack 1.
Auto update enabled to regulary getting new things from MS.

Computer with problem is my PC and the one that is working correctly is my laptop.

Is there any info I should give that would make identifying/solving problem easier?

I have copied mspaint.exe to the desktop and run it from there. This time it remembers last saving location but opening system's pbrush (from windows+r or menu start) still produces mentioned issue.

Can it indicate to some problems with /system32/ directory or it's permissions?

Another small update.
If I save something with system paint, the copy I put on desktop remembers saving directory. However the standard paint still wants to save everyting inside "Pictures" folder...
This is some kind of joke for me... ;x

On new account that I've just created there is no such issue. Maybe this will help to localize the problem...
