My computer has windows 7 and Pandora lately keeps cutting off and below is the error message that comes up when I click on "view details."

Problem event name--App hang b1
Application name------1 explore.exe
Application version----11.0.9600.18500
Application timestamp--57edec53
Hang signature---------cf2e
Hang type----------------131072
Os version--------------6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Local id-------------------1033

Then there are 7 additional hang signatures.

I have no idea what any of this is and would greatly appreciate some help.
Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome::)

Did you try the suggestion posted in your other thread at tenforums?

Pandora not working - Windows 10 Forums

Specifically, perhaps have a look here:

IE 11 Crashing while listening to Pandora or chatting with Amazon cs

Also, perhaps try a different browser, just to troubleshoot (Firefox, Chrome, Opera)?

And there is email support at Pandora:

Let us know how it goes,

MM

P.S. The forum editor is messing with the link to Pandora support, but it still works for me

Hi MM,
Thanks for the advice but it's too complicated for me to follow. I guess I'll have to bring the computer to the computer place where I always go. They're pretty reasonable usually $40-50 for most repairs.
Thanks again,
GA

P.S. I just sent an email to Pandora as you suggested so I'll wait for their reply.

Hi:

Yes, that did look a bit "involved" and it dates from 2014, so it may or may not apply now.

Having said that, I wouldn't rush to shell out $$ just yet, even if you have a trustworthy local computer shop.

I suggest the following, while you wait to hear back from Pandora:

  • Try a different browser, such as Firefox, Chrome or Opera. If the other browsers work, then it narrows the issue to IE; AND
  • Wait to see if someone here can help you.
I realize that it sucks when Pandora doesn't work, but it's not an emergency. :)
Someone here may be able to help you fix it without any $$$....

Cheers,

MM

Thanks MM. Also my view on the page doesn't show what all the others show, ie. replies, views, etc. How do I make that come up?
Thanks.
