Partition wiz shows no drive letters

Hello
It is impossible for me to put the drive letters in partition wiZard (booted from cd) on recovered, none of them have a drive letter

Change letter option is greyed out

In the event there is no way of fixing the drives, could I use the copy partition in partition wizard to copy to USB hdd the reinstall every thing and access those partitions? The computer is a lenovo and their win7 can be installed on one specific partitions... It will reformat everything I I will loose data on there partitions of the drive

When you look in Disk Management while in Windows 7, do they have drive letters? If you could use your Snipping Tool and post a shot of your Disk Management (expanded) it would help us to solve your problem. Thanks,

Won't boot all I have is Partition wizard... I am copying to a hdd right now... Wiill reinstall win7... Will I be able to access the info of the copied partitions if they have no letter?

Will I be able to fix them with the newly installed win7

Drive letters won't appear in some boot disks because they are different in the boot environment than in the OS.

What repair did you think you were going to run that involves changing drive letters. You cannot change an OS drive letter without ruining the OS.
