password reset

Hey folks. I havent used my computer n a while (over a yr). I turned my computer on an it asks me 4 my password, i dont remember it, i hit reset, but it pops up "saying using usb or floppy disk. I do knot have either. Is there any other way that i can get around this.

Which one did you try?

Option Five is a good one, but you'll need to create it on another PC to use on yours.

Hello brink, thkz 4 emailing me bac. As i turn on my computer, the screen shows my email address, then ask me 4 my password. I dont remember my pw n order 4 me 2 make that transition 2 the main screen. If i cant get it done this way, then i mite have 2 try bestbuy.

Is this for Windows 7, Windows 8, or ?

Windows 7 doesn't ask for an email address at log in, but only your user name and password.

Do you have a digital camera that you could take a picture of this with, and upload and attach? This will hopefully help more to ID what this may be. Be sure to black out the first part of your email address first though.
