PC crashes after 2nd use of sleep mode

Hi all,

MY PC won't wake up after the second instance of sleep mode. I have to toggle power to reboot my PC. When this happen, i get a safe boot message indicating the PC did not shutdown correctly. I also receive the following message once the PC boots back up:

I ran my dump files and it looks like Ntoskrnl.exe might be causing an issue but I'd like a second opinion. I did just recently upgrade my graphics card drivers and I wonder if it could be that. Attached are the dmp files. Any help would be much appreciated!

Update: Looks like the problem is also when sleep is used the first time. I wonder if it's a post issue if the PC is left in sleep mode for an extended amount of time.

335.23 which looks correct since I updated to the latest one last week.


Just right now, I Went ahead and did a clean install of the drivers. Uninstalled the previous ones, ran 3d Guru's drive sweeper utility, and then re-installed the latest drivers.


Do I need to fix pci.sys? If so, is there anything I can do to fix it?

I think PCI.sys might be a red herring because of the video issue. PCI.sys is normally updated via Windows Udate.....it won't hurt to check for updates.

After doing a clean re-install of the video drivers, I put my PC into sleep 2 already and it back with no issues. I'll give it another day and report back on the status. Thanks again for the help Golden!

Had the sleep problem occur again this morning.
