PC keeps tabbing out while in games.

So, as I play Dayz, Tera, or any other game, my PC keeps tabbing out to the main desktop screen. This happens every 1-2 min. Only while I'm playing a game. Even while in windowed mode it still does it.
I've tried the following:
-Changed GPU out from a 5970, r9 270x, and r9 290.
-Updated all the drivers.
-Downloaded and purchased new antivirus and malware protection. Ran that.
-Closed down all unnecessary start up programs.
-Open task manager and stopped programs.
-Cleaned Keyboard
-Checked for a Windows Update


I'm pretty much lost at what to do next.

Welcome to the forum.
its most likely an application thats seeking permission but that permission isnt being flagged up. Have you changed windows notifications to not pop up and tell you when something wants to make changes to your computer?

Is this a recent thing?? if it is then try a system restore to a point where it didnt.
