Hey,

I wonder what is happening since I already have formated my computer more than once and for some reason the Windows logo is not showing up when the computer is starting up. Here's a screenshot:

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits.

Thank you

I thought the reason for this loading screen was because of the hardware on your machine, if you had low specs, i always saw this loading screen, hmm..

What is your screen resolution set at?

If it is lower than 1024 x 768 you will get that alternate boot screen.

well on THIS net book, if i don't have the right drivers, in get the alternate boot screen. I didn't mean that i always see it, just that i always see it on low spec computers. (that's if you were talking to me)

for you, RDC4 is it a lappy or a desktop, and what about your screen resolution like derikimo suggested. please fill in your system specs, not only for help on THIS problem, but help on any other problems http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html, what do you mean by formatted your computer, do you mean changed the screen resolution?

What language is your version of Windows?

This has always worked for me.

It's portuguese, pt-PT, and I used it in the command.

And I didn't receive any error messages, just a confirmation message that the changes were made.

What is your screen resolution set at?

If it is lower than 1024 x 768 you will get that alternate boot screen.

My resolution screen is 1360 x 768, so I don't know what's the problem here.

Ok, I already updated my System Specs. And when I say formatted my computer, I mean I formatted my hard disk drive and installed Windows again.

Over the years what we've seen is that if the solutions already presented cannot work, along with a few Startup Repairs, then it requires a reinstall.

But this time it needs to be done correctly by using the Drive Options to delete all partitions during booted Custom install, as shown in Steps 7 and 8 of Clean Install Windows 7.

In addition follow these steps to prepare, achieve and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

Update your graphics driver, usually you can receive this from Windows Update. Update your computer, and when all updates are finished, right click your desktop and select "Screen Resolution" Change the screen resolution up to it's (Recommended) size and see if that works--Windows updates first though!

I already reinstalled Windows deleting all partitions but didn't work. I also have my graphics driver updated and the correct resolution.

I really don't know which is the problem, but I will leave it like that since it does not affect anything that I use.

Thank you for your help anyway everyone!

I think your PC came with Windows 7 Home premium rore installed. I now see that you have one of the most expensive version of Windows 7 installed which I think might be a corrupt disc. What version of Ultimate do you have, OEM or Retail. Also where did you obtain the installation disc?

This desktop came with Windows Vista.

Well, I'm not going to lie, because the Windows 7 version that I have is a cracked one I downloaded, but I can see that no one had this problem with this version so I assume it's not a OS problem.

I'm sorry about that, I didn't know. But please I really need help, now I can't even turn my computer on, it started happening like 5 days ago. Sometimes the computer powers on, but have no display signal and no beep, but the fans are working, I really don't know what to do. Usually I could get it on by waiting for beep or just rebooting but now he just won't beep. Any help please? Would appreciate it.
