Pc takes long time 2 start

Hi
For quite some time now my pc takes long time to power on (beep when the computer gives when it starts).It takes even longer when my cd rom drive is connected.It also remains for about a minute at the list which appears before the os boot options.

I do not know how to speed it up
Is it because of the bios problem???
Please help me

Try in safe mode, If it boots corectly we can probably find the problem.
