Solved PC to TV through HDMI cable, PC refuses to detect TV

Oh, dude, I just took a better look down where my VGA port is at the bottom of the computer. Turns out there is a DVI port as well...

AND AN HDMI PORT

This... changes... everything.... I have so much stuff to test right now.

edit: Alright well I seem to need a longer cord, I can't quite reach it. There's always something keeping me from doing things I want to do. I just know that since the VGA port down lower works, these ports will too...

edit 2: Nope, I finagled it to fit! NOW let's see what I got!

edit 3: NEMEPHOSIS WINS. FLAWLESS VICTORY.

Something so so SO dumb, but I never would have figured it out without your help. I don't really know what made me check back there for ports other than the VGA, but that was what it was. The motherboard ones weren't working, but the other ones did. Thank you guys so much for everything, I got it working now! Thank you all again!

Is that the DVI (yellow) port that we see here

Is that also the working VGA cable next to the yellow DVI port?

there is another near the bottom that isn't pictured that does work
Does that mean you have a second add-on graphics card that we can't see and when you say that does work, what works, VGA?
All the ports at the bottom. There's a DVI, HDMI and VGA port all at the bottom of the back of the computer, away from the motherboard. If I want output, clearly I have to use those.

As I said though I have everything working now... all it took was using that stupid port instead of the motherboard one I showed you guys. Unreal. But as I said if I hadn't asked, I would probably not have figured it out on my own.

edit: Actually yes, I believe it is. There is an HDMI port in between those two you probably can't see as it's sort of tucked away under the casing. But it's there, and it works just great.

Better to ask than bang your head against a wall.

Yippie it works. I believe you have only one add-on card and onboard graphics and yes I couldn't see it in the photo but great that it's there.

System restore fixed mine

I had begun having problems with sata ports and pci-e slots. So I figured it was my psu. Replaced it and when I turned it back on it didn't see my vizio tv any more. I uninstalled all NVidia drivers and tried a radeon 220, still no tv, though windows detected a vga output from the cards. Decided to try system restore back to July 31, 2016 I left the criticals and just removed some optionals which I believe were c++ or something of the sort. And right when it rebooted My tv was detected again. So that's what fixed my issue. Just thought I would add my 2 cents.
