PC Won't boot up with graphics card installed.

This just happened one day, but might PC will now not boot up with the graphics card in. It's an older PC (hp p6130f with a 450w PSU). I put in the EVGA GeForce 9600GSO a few years back, and everything worked fine. Now for some reason it won't boot up with the card installed. Any ideas as to why this might be? The card does not have an external power source by the way, and only requires 350w.


Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've unplugged and replugged in everything, reseated the card and reset the CMOS.

Maybe the card is faulty?

Gpu could have died yes, suggestions would be (if possible) try card in another pc, try different card in your pc or take gpu to computer shop to get it tested.

It honestly sounds like the card coughed it's last cough

Very possible age is the culprit ,I would say after 5 years of use any PC will start to see break down of components

It maybe time to look into upgrading your card or machine older parts are more expensive and harder to come by
