Peer Networking Identity Manager couldnot be started

Hey, I can`t start this.
Get error 5: access denied.
dunno what`s wrong, need it to setup homegroup network

You need to delate the following file, reboot the machine then try to start the service, you should be able to get your Homegroup working after that.

"C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst"

You can fix other Homegroup problems using the trouble shooter.

Forgot to mention, directory
C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking
doesnot exist at all
Too bad the troubleshooter isnot more helpy, IPv6 is enabled at ethernet adapter.
Trying to create the homegoup network using wizard the progress windows "Creating home network" lasts forever.

HomeWork Listener/Provide are started
Windows Firewall is started

You can try this Technet link that has some working solutions to this problem. You might try running a file scan to make sure none of your files are corrupted. Type sfc /scannow into your command prompt and hit enter, let the process run till complete.
