Drive letters D, E, F, G, are working but not visible. (camera related)
H, I, J and K are USB 2.0 and are working but invisible as well.
Each shows up on MY COMPUTER when a device is plugged in.

On MY COMPUTER C and D are visible and C is working fine. D questionable---it would not format a blank CD, although it will recognise program (boot) cd's.

I recollect that this happened once before and that there is a way to get the icons to appear again.

I suspect that I may have caused this with a Disk Cleaner program.

There are no Restore points prior to this. They were wiped out.

I have Windows Virtual XP 32bit as well. I am able to access the Virtual partition and send e-mail but other than "C" and "D" drives, the other 8 drives are missing and do NOT recognise plugged in devices.

Of course if Windows7 is fixed maybe they might work again.

Brian.

Thank you

Your tip solved part of my problem, thank you.
Clearly I had checked ( or unchecked) the item in error.
So E, F. G and H are now visible. USB drives only show when media inserted.
My problems with Virtual XP mode could not be fixed.
I deleted and re-installed this program.
Everything good now.
Brian.
