Hi
I have A Spyder Pro 3 color calibrator. It works nice on my computer. The problem is that the images look, different (lighter, less contrast etc) on other computers. Let's say I edited some photos and they looks nice on my computer. I upload them on the web and they still look nice on my computer. But when these are viewed on a different computer (client's computer), pictures don't look so good. If anybody knows how to solve this problem please reply. Is there a general setting or else..... for this purpose?

dapinyan, welcome to the forums.

Short of going around and calibrating the other monitors, not much you can do.

P.S. Have you tried printing the pictures out to see how the printed image compares to your monitor?

The prints do come out OK not as much with my printer, as at the printing places. The problem I have is showing the artwork to the clients over the web. In some of the artwork the deep blacks come out with grains and the whites overexposed. I even uncalibrated my laptop to see the results and tryed to figure out a "fromula" in photoshop to underexpose and undercontrast the sample images. It works on some files but doesnt' on others. After all, I can make it happen on laptop.... but the extra time spent is irritating. I was wondering if everyone suffers from this or there is a better way around.

I assume your pics are in .jpeg. Have you tried with other formats like .png or .tiff that have more bytes.
