Please help! Cannot install any MS Visual C++! Error 1935

So, I'm just going to get straight to the point. I'm trying to install Microsoft Visual C++ 20xx so I can play games like Grand Theft Auto IV or BeamNG Drive, Ship Simulator Extremes, etc., but every time I try to install any of the Microsoft Visual C++ versions (anything between 2004 and 2013) it gives me this error:

I was told that it was a registry error, and I've already looked at all of the helpful looking pages on Google, nothing helped. I think it may be some kind of Malware but my antivirus doesn't find it. (Phantom Virus maybe?) Please help! It's preventing me from playing one of my most favorite games.

Error 1935, can also be caused by unsuccessful updates.

Figured out how to avoid Error 1935

All I need to do is install Microsoft Visual C++ 20xx with a third party installer. It seems to only occur (Error 1935) when I use the normal VC++ installers, so I thought if I could find third party installers, I could install them and play the games I've wanted to. Anyone have tips on where to look for these installers?

Source: Installed Unturned from steam, and it also installed VC++ 2010 with no errors

Welcome to Seven Forums hudzell. You appear to have a Windows Update issue that is more serious than a game issue. You would be wise to post about that problem in the Windows Updates & Activation - Windows 7 Help Forums
