Hello,

My Onboard Realtek sound card didnot seem to working . so I bought new cheap external sound card and Install in in mobo slot . But its showing following error .

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

I already disabled onboard realtek sound card from BIOS and re-installed audio driver but problem is still there.
My PC configuration:

Windows 7 ultimate
2 GB DDR RAM
My new soundcard :
crystal soundfusion cs4281 driver ver 5.0.0.5015

My problem there is no windows 7 driver available for this audio driver . So i installed windows xp supported driver.
Please see attached screenshot of my device manager.

First drivers specifically for XP are incompatible with Vista/Win7/Win 8. These OS' handle some audio functions differently from XP.

Second, 2GB of RAM is bare minimum and not really enough.

A Google search for that sound card does not turn up anything other than 3rd party sites for driver download.
