Ok, I am really hoping someone can help me here. for the past year I have had this problem with Windows Updates not working. I have tried the HotFix solution with no results but this screen shot. Has anyone had this problem? My computer caught a really bad virus before this happened, so I am thinking that had something to do with it. I have also tried reinstalling windows and that didnt work either.

Sorry, I meant using the windows 7 disk to perform the windows repair. I will check out the tutorial when I get back home. This problem is preventing me from installing other software that requires updates.

Ok, I have followed the tutorial as you stated. After running SURT, it just says Installation complete and then click close. Here is the CBS you asked for. It looks like a ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT problem from the log. Please help me with this, if possible by NOT reinstalling Windows 7 and backing up everything. The error code is listed in the initial post.
