So I've tried two different adapters now. One brand new.

They both see my wireless network. I type in security key (correct, I've done it multiple times for both) and windows says that they can't connect.

I've tried every thing. It's not the network, that works. It's not the adapters. Those work. It's not the location, I'm typing on a laptop right next to the comp right now.

WTF?

I have Windows 7. Is there some kind of obscure associated problem here?

I don't understand.

Also this computer worked with Ethernet fine at college. And the wireless adapters SEE the network it has to be something windows related right?

help....

Its more likely a configuration issue. Have you tried connecting without encryption? does it work?

Please run ipconfig /all and upload the output to us here.
(start>search>cmd>ipconfig /all)

Perhaps a screenshot of the advanced adapter properties would also help.

I won't be able to try without a security key for a while because there are mutiple comps hooked up to this network. Here is the image though. Also this isn't the only adapter that this issue exists with.
